CHAMP is our Ceramic Hybrid Additive Manufacturing Platform. It combines additive and subtractive processes to unlock new manufacturing opportunities for previously difficult to process materials. Developed over 7 years of research, we are building an industry spec platform ready to revolutionize Ceramic AM.
Capabilities

Huge punch in a small package. Our bespoke extrusion module delivers over 650 kPa of pressure to the ceramic for rapid deposition, whilst our precision metering system starts and stops the flow on-demand.

CHAMP uses polymer support structures that burn out during sintering to enable complex overhangs and internal channels, all with zero additional post-processing.

A high speed, high precision machining spindle coupled with an eight-bank tool changing station allows CHAMP to adapt to any geometry from sweeping contours to deep pockets, from large flat surfaces to micro-bores. All without the need for user interaction.

A powerful infrared heater solidifies the ceramic paste for improved unsupported overhangs, greater machinability, and enhanced green strength.

AI-powered defect detection paired with our hybrid capabilities allow for flaws to be repaired mid-process. This ensures each print results in a useable end part.
